My name is Aimee Fordos and I am a native English-speaker from the UK. I have over 15 years of writing, editing and marketing experience from London, Shanghai, Singapore, and now, Saint-Malo, France. While I'm happy to turn my pen to any subject, I have a particular interest in lifestyle, travel, hospitality, food and drink, sustainability and tourism.
After graduating with First-Class Honours from the University of Leicester, I worked for a boutique PR agency in London, specializing in high-end restaurants and chefs. While my belly was full, my spirit was not and in 2005, my desire to see more of the world led me to Shanghai where I remained for the next eight years.

My Shanghai resumé includes three years of marketing some of the city’s top food and drink venues, and three years as Senior Editor for Ctrip, China’s leading online travel agent. I also wrote for local magazines Shanghai Talk, That’s Shanghai and City Weekend, and was English editor for Amazing Publications.
As a freelancer in Singapore I contributed regularly to lifestyle magazine Expat Living (print and online) and also worked with a wide range of clients on projects including web content, training materials, press releases, corporate communications and blogs for the hospitality, travel, education, fashion, lifestyle and luxury industries.
In 2019 my family and I moved to Saint-Malo where I continue to share my skills and experience with individuals and businesses, both big and small, working together to create polished and effective English communications.
